City folk ou em português Gente da cidade, é um magazine/documentário de meia hora sobre a vida moderna e multicultural na cidade. É co-produzido por diversas cadeias de televisão europeias.
Basicamente consiste em filmar um dia na vida de três pessoas da cidade em questão e assim mostrar o grande mosaico que é a Europa, com os diversos estilos, cores e hábitos que coabitam neste espaço.
"Each programme features three ordinary but outspoken city people - one with a foreign background - who are filmed for one day in their lives. The series aims to counterbalance prejudices and stereotyped ideas about immigrants and other foreigners by presenting them as unique individuals irrespective the colour of their skin or their country of origin. The mix of people portrayed reflects the demographic reality in Europe’s big cities, and the viewer can recognise that the lives and ambitions of others are very similar to his own, despite superficial differences."

ah e dá na rtp2! os dias é que não sei, por acaso ontem calhou ter visto que estava a dar (antigamente davam cerca das 19h,20h já não me lembro bem...)
